Jordan Academy for Maritime Studies (JAMS)
JAMS was established in 2004 as the first Jordanian institution specialized in the maritime education and training (MET) and management consultation.
The Academy provided the maritime industry with more than 23000 graduated (both students and trainees) who achieved the Jordanian COCs and specialized maritime training programs from more than 40 nationalities.
JAMS SERVICES
We aim to providing three main services:
To obtain Jordanian CoCs for different levels and ranks (2nd Officer, Chief Officer, Master, 3rd Engineer, 2nd Engineer, Chief Engineer, ETO).
- Maritime Training & General Training;
Wide range of training programs and courses are provided (such as basic safety courses, CoC renewal, Tug Master, DP, Survival Craft, HV, IGF, LNG/LPG, GMDSS/ GOC, ETO, ETR, ECDIS, BTM, ERM, ….) which are accredited by Jordan Maritime Commission and meet the standards required by the International Convention on the STCW 1978 and its amendments.
- Management Consultations;
Various range of management consultations are provided to national and Arab organizations in different fields, such as entering the IMO whitelist, QMS and other ISO systems, …
All maritime services are in accordance with STCW 1978 as amended.
ACCREDITATION & QUALITY MANAGEMENT:
- Jordan Maritime Commission (JMC).
- Jordan is addressed in IMO white list.
- European Union (EU).
